Windows 10: switching C: drives from old win 10 pro pc to new win 11 pc

Pretty self explanatory. The reason why I wanted to do this was because the new pc has a 256gb ssd and my old pc has a 500gb ssd, I also personally don't like win 11Could I just replace the new ssd with the old one directly? Or would that mess up the OS?

Upgrade new PC Win 11 Home to Pro. Old PC has Win 10 Pro digital license

I have new PC with Win 11 Home. I also have old PC which has Win 10 Pro digital license. Based on some forum, I have already removed license key from old laptop. When I try to upgrade Win 11 home to Pro, it asks for license key which I don't have.

Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Updating Win 11 to pro from a disabled PC

I recently bought a new ASUS PC with Win 10 home installed. Obviously this is an OEM License. The PC I was using had Win 10 Pro on it, but I have turned that into a FreeNAS server. I won't be needing/using that Win 10 license anymore.

I have updated the ASUS PC to Win 11, but I'd really rather have the pro version. Is there anyway I can use my old Win 10 pro to update the ASUS to pro with having to reload WIn 10 and do another update?

 

Old win 10 pro key doesn't activate win 11

Hello,

I was using win 10 pro for 7 years with a multi computer CD key( original)

I recently built a new rig and installed win11 directly and used my old win10 pro CD key.

My old PC was synced with my Microsoft account and I used same account on win 11.

Now win 11 doesn't activate because of hardware change. I followed every possible troubleshoot from windows.

I was able to upgrade to windows 11 for free with my old PC but hardware requirements wasn't met.

I am not able to use my old cd key with win 11 ?
