Windows 10: Switching out of S mode, logging in to Store Asus Vivobook

Hello,


I want to switch out of S mode, but when I go to that page in the store, there isn't an option to do so. There isn't a button anywhere that says "switch out". However, at the bottom of the page, there is a heading that reads "Need more info?" and below that, "Update Microsoft Store" and below that "Update microsoft store to switch out of S mode." When I click on that link, it takes me to the "get microsoft store" page on microsoft store, even though I already have it. When I press "install," nothing happens, and when I press "get", I have to sign in but when I try to do so, a page pops up that says I'm not connected to the internet even though I am, and I get the error code 0x800704cf.


When I ran a troubleshoot on windows store apps, it said that I needed to sign in, so when I tried I got a notification in settings that said "We can't activate windows on this device right now. You can try activating later or go to store to buy genuine windows. Error code 0x80072EE2."


I do have windows, and also as a note I had just factory reset my laptop to fix it 3 months ago. This has been happening since then I believe and I have been trying to fix it for the past few weeks.

Problem when switching out of S Mode

Hi. I recently bought an Asus Vivobook Flip 14. I wanted to switch out of s mode, so i followed the steps do upgrade to normal windows. I went to settings, clicked updates and security, clicked activation. When i clicked the link to go to the Microsoft store
to switch out of s mode, the microsoft store opened only to bring up a blank screen. I have restarted the device multiple times and even factory reset it and it still will not work. If anyone can help please reply. Thank you
