Windows 10: Switching to Windows 11 official release

Hi, I am a Windows Insider in the Release Preview channel. I was wondering how can I switch to the official release of Windows 11 without losing my files? I have no spare drive installed or portable. This question has been at the back of my mind and it would be greatly appreciated if somebody could answer this as this could also be useful for other people. Thanks!

When will Windows 11 be released?

Hi,

i know there will be no Windows 11 (as far as i know), It'll come as updates for windows 10, what i want to know is "Is there a specific release Date for this update, will it be MAJOR UPDATE changing everything, or just minor updates like step by step ?!"

some websites say that It'll be in 2018, but nothing is confirmed.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
