Windows 10: symbol in task bar keeps coming up frm device disconnected two days ago

i connected my note 8 yesterday to the laptop to try to transfer a video. Nothing worked anyway or showed up as it should have in Windows 10. i gave up but today three times just at randon, a brown square appears in the task try with a yellow diamond and an exclmation point in it telling the device was disconnected.so how to i stop this from happening? In addition windows doesns't read the dvice prperly and connecting it through the usb port didn't allow me to do a thing. i watched a few youtubes on how to do this and it's pretty straightforward.How and i transfer a video from the phone to the

Disconnected device sound keeps happening every few seconds

This is literally driving me to insanity.

I'm just using the pc normally and i keep hearing the sound that you hear when you disconnect a usb device.

It happens every few seconds. I opened up device manager, nothing abnormal there, but when ever i hear the disconnected device sound, the device manager refreshes the list.

I noticed also the task bar of open windows flash when it happens. I dunno why this is happening, it is driving me insane. Please help i need solutions to this problem, i don't know where to being to solve this problem.

The issue might have been caused if the ‘Auto-hide’ task bar option got checked. So, I would suggest you to try the following steps to disable auto hide task bar.

a. Right click on the Task bar.

b. Click on Properties.

c. Put a uncheck mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the task bar.

d. Click on Apply and OK.

Also check the option “task bar location on the screen” need to select “bottom”.

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
