    Sync issue after reset Xbox

hi, i had to reset my Xbox one because it couldn't start up, and i got my game saves back from the sync cloud saves? but when i got to my internet on my Xbox it couldn't get it to sync and so i lost all of what i had on that save can i get that save back or is it lost forever? and i think the last update screwed my system because it did this before with a system update, and not even two days ago my system was working fine too[Original Title: system error/ system reset]

  3. Xbox one syncing issue

    Hi Aiden,

An outdated version of the Xbox controller's firmware is a possible reason as to why you're encountering this issue.

Here are the troubleshooting solutions that you may perform to resolve this concern:

Solution 1: Move closer to the console

Make sure that you're around 19 feet away from the console when you're using the controller. This is the recommended distance to use a wireless controller seamlessly.

Solution 2: Power cycle your console

    • Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.
    • Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
Restarting your console may help in resolving common connection issues.

Solution 3: Remove objects that are between the wireless controller and the console

    • Laptops
    • Microwave ovens
    • Cordless phones
    • Wireless routers
    • Metal dividers, shelving units, or doors on an entertainment center cabinet
Removing these objects will avoid wireless interference between the console and the controller.

Solution 4: Check if there updates available for the controller

    Refer to
    Update your Xbox One Controller
for the steps. Updating your Xbox One controller will help improve the controller's performance.

We'll be waiting for your response regarding the status of this issue.

    Hi,

To resolve your concern, you can follow the steps on the suggested methods below:

Method 1. Power cycle your Xbox One console.

You can reset, perform a full power cycle, or physically disconnect your Xbox One console to reboot it completely and fix many common issues. This process does not erase any of your games or data.

    Here are the steps:

    • Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts
      down completely.

    • Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds. Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    • Plug the console power cable back in.

    • Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Method 2. Clear the storage cache on the console.

    Here are the steps:

    • Press the menu key on the controller.

    • Go to Settings, and then select Disc & Blu-Ray.

    • In the Blu-Ray section select Persistent Storage.

    • Select Clear persistent storage.

    Method 3. Clear Mac address.

    • Here are the steps:

    • Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

    • Select Settings.

    • Select All Settings.

    • Select Network.

    • Select Network settings.

    • Select Advance settings.

    • Select Alternate MAC address.

    • Select Clear.

If you are still experiencing the same issue after following the given steps above, we recommend that you remove and add your profile back on Xbox One to refresh it. You can follow the steps on this
