Windows 10: Sync ruined my local access - please get rid of it!

My personal desktop has several Tb of space so sync is a useless feature for me, not that I ever asked for it in the first place. Now that I am using my computer for school, I've logged into OneDrive through a web browser with my university credentials. OneDrive has infected my local libraries and now I cannot access any of my files. The internet connection on campus is timed so it drops out frequently which I suspect makes matters worse. When I go to C:\Users\<me>\Documents\<any file> I cannot open it and get error code 0x80070194 "The cloud file provider exited unexpectedly"These

Sync folder between Air and PC locally

I'm looking for a software which will keep folders on my Mac Air and PC synced via the local wireless network.

I usually take my Mac with me everywhere and as such have tons of large downloaded files that I have to manually copy over to the PC. I'm looking for something that'll transfer the files over the local wireless network in my home.

Any suggestions?

This issue might be due to some error in system settings.

If you have not yet tried the below steps, I suggest you to perform and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to log out from the current user account, restart the computer and log-in with the administrator account and check if you are able to access the local drivers.

Remote access to my (local) server's folders

I am running a simple local fileserver. Windows based.

I would like to access (load, save, modify) what's on this server when I am away on business trips. Laptop -- internet -- router - server

What is the best way to do this? Setup WebDAV or ftp-server or something else? I would prefer direct access, ie. being able to load/save from an application rather than using ftp as a separate step.
