  1. syncing and deleting OneDrive issue

For a while now I've had some old-school files stuck on my computer from OneDrive for a while I forgot about them until they started to get in the way and take up room. I cannot delete them at all, I can't access the school info anymore and I can't log into the drive. The main issue is that all the files are unsynced, making it impossible for me to remove or deal with them. Been working for days to try and fix the issue but I cannot find anything on it, tried of un-syncing deleting one drive, and re-downloading it, but nothing works and it ends up just giving me an error message that the cloud

Honestly, I don't understand why you haven't already tried to boot with WinPE or other live disk and manually remove the file? This example using Macrium WinPE boot disk, download Macrium Free and let it create a boot disk for you. Option to create one is shown automatically when you launch Macrium first time:

    1. Switch to C: drive
    2. Change the working folder to your OneDrive folder
    3. Check that the file has no Read Only (r) and System (s) attributes set. As the file name in your case is quite long, you don't have to type the full name. Use the *.* wildcard to replace any number of characters in file name and any extension, in your case command attrib .849C*.* should be enough
    4. If r and / or s attributes are shown for the file, remove them with command attrib .849C*.* -r -s
    5. Check that attributes r & s are removed
    6. Delete the file with del .849C*.*
(Steps 3 & 5 not necessary; step 3 because removing attributes as in step 4 removes them if set but does no harm if not set, and step 5 because the attrib command works for 100% sure if no error messages are given.)

The file should be removed now. You can test with command dir .849C*.*, it should not be shown anymore.

    OneDrive Perpetual Syncing Issue

This is a new user, actually. I originally had tried logging into the Office apps (including OneDrive), then creating a folder in OneDrive online, then opening File Manager windows on the computer and dragging over the folders I wanted backed up into the folder I created online. Well, that didn't work because when I dragged Documents over, I got errors that My Music, My Pictures and My Videos were missing (reparse points). So, I attempted to put everything back and start over. Unfortunately, things weren't cooperating, so I created a new user, moved all the data over to that one, and deleted the old user account. I then setup OneDrive letting it do things the way it wanted in this new account, and that's when I started having this sync issue.

One other problem I have is that it won't backup the active pst/ost outlook file. I had to move that to a folder outside Documents. Not sure why either. That doesn't seem right to me. That doesn't really concern me though, since I have a redundant backup which captures it without issue.

EDIT: As an FYI: If anyone comes here looking for a resolution to the "My Music, My Pictures and My Videos" error/problem, I did read online that if you go into OneDrive online and delete those three folders, the error will go away. I cannot confirm this, but it did work for someone else.

    OneDrive Perpetual Syncing Issue

    OK.

I have a wild suggestion : have you tried creating a new normal user, then testing the OneDrive sync with the new user profile? Im just guessing here.
