    Hello, Excerpt from slightly different post earlier. I have both an old and a new PC's syncing to my Microsoft account, including favorites. How can I prevent the older PC from syncing to the newer PC and overwriting the newer PC? Should I turn off the Sync feature on the older PC and let the newer PC sync to the older PC if it will even do that if the older PC sync feature is turned off; and then if/after the newer PC syncs its files to the older PC, after 24 hours or so, then turn on the sync feature on the older PC again? Both OS are Windows 10. My older PC is very slow, and I thi

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Sync folder between Air and PC locally

    I'm looking for a software which will keep folders on my Mac Air and PC synced via the local wireless network.

    I usually take my Mac with me everywhere and as such have tons of large downloaded files that I have to manually copy over to the PC. I'm looking for something that'll transfer the files over the local wireless network in my home.

    Any suggestions?
