  1. SYNTHETIC_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT after updating a bunch of drivers

Computer always gives synthetic watchdog timeout BSOD since I updated a bunch of driversThe last ones I think I did were called "system timer" and "system speaker" in the driver updater software I was using., but I updated about 15 drivers overall including some USB devices, some audio drivers, the drivers for my hard drives, some WiFi drivers, some Bluetooth drivers and the ones i mentioned. The BSOD is delayed if I use the F8 menu to boot without early anti-malware drivers, and simply doesn't occur if I boot into safe mode, including with networking but while I can access devices on my LAN,

    :)

  2. Windows update keeps replacing ALPS Touchpad driver with a Synaptics driver.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Appreciate your interest in using Windows 10.

I suggest you to uninstall and delete the previous drivers and the latest drivers for the touchpad and install the required version of the driver from Device Manager by following the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list.
    • Expand the Touch pad driver.
    • Right click on the driver and click on update/install.
    • Select the required version from the on-screen prompts.

And for the problem with the installation of printer drivers, I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter by following the steps below:

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
    • Click on “View All” option on top left pane.
    • Select “Windows Update” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Hope the information is helpful. Feel free to
write to us for any other assistance with Windows, we’ll be glad to assist you.

  3. Windows Update is not installing Drivers

Thank you and Bill for the replies. I am now trying to download and install the device drivers from the link suggested by Bill. The listed device driver softwares do not directly mention the devices. Could you please suggest which bunch would contain the
device drivers for PCI, Bluetooth Peripheral and Remote NDIS based internet sharing?

  4. SYNTHETIC_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT after updating a bunch of drivers

(Resolved) Bunch of systemfile/driver corruptions, can anyone help with this please

Sorry for the late reply, didn't notice the reply was posted...

One of them report RAM corruption (hardware), I'd suggest testing your RAM using Memtest86: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/14201-memtest86-test-ram.html

Follow the steps on how to create a bootable disk as listed in the above link, the official Memtest86 site is here: MemTest86 - Official Site of the x86 Memory Testing Tool

I see a mention of NTFS driver issue in the other dump file, would be worth checking if the storage drivers are up-to-date through Device Manager.

I also see a BIOS update available for your B360M, I'd suggest checking it out in MSI's site.
