    System and Cortana start using high disk when i play a game


    While I play a game, as soon as i get into a match "SYSTEM" and "CORTANA" start using high disk for no reason whatsoever. This causes stutters, lags, freezes sometime the game crashes and i have to restart my pc.

    I have reinstalled windows 3 times. Tried 1903 1909 and 2004, all have the same problem.

    This happens only when i play valorant and csgo. I have reinstalled those games countless times too

    As you are facing issues with high system and compressed memory on your device we will help you with this issue.

    • What is the complete error message with respect to the memory when you are trying to access games?

    This issue might have occurred due to applications or services running at the startup on the computer. Bad sectors on the hard drive or outdated and incompatible drivers might also cause such issues.

    Cortana's play the movie game doesn't always work properly.

    @Nitesh_Kumar: I am also facing the same problem wherein I play a movie game with Cortana and then it asks "Do you want play another one?" where I respond with a "Yes" but it instead searches "Yes" in Bing.

    Also sometimes I am guessing the movie name, instead it navigates to Bing search and displays search results for that guessed phrase word.

    I have tried the procedure mentioned by you above, it was not helpful.

    As I notice the above two problems are widespread for all users and are not one off case.

    Microsoft kindly suggest a solution for this, it is embarrassing when we are showing this innovative game to others.
