System bricked shortly after windows 11 update. Can I replace the system board and boot...

I recently updated my system Lenovo p1 gen 1 to windows 11. The update was successful and I could use the laptop as normal. It did feel very hot, but figured this was due to the update process being hardware intensive. The following day I started up and saw the screen flicker and freeze after logging in. The system became unresponsive and will no longer boot. When powering up I hear a beep code Using the Lenovo PC diagnostics app, I learned the code 0282 means a memory module error or a system board error.I am now faced with either replacing the whole laptop or try replacing the motherboard

  2. Replacing System Board

I built my own PC and now I need to replace the System Board. I installed Windows 8 OEM on the original PC and have since upgraded to Windows 10 through the free upgrade program. I need to know what steps to take in reactivating Windows 10 upgrade. Do
I have to buy Windows again? I've read that the OEM can't be transferred to a new System Board as it can only be activated once, but the Full Version of Windows can be reactivated up to three times.

How to get my Dual Boot screen back after system board replacement

I recently had to have my system board replaced on my Lenovo Thinkpad x260. The laptop came loaded with windows 10 and I set it up to dual boot with Ubuntu.

Before the replacement, when I powered up the laptop I would be presented with the purple screen asking if I wanted Ubuntu or Windows 10. However, this screen no longer appears and the laptop just boots into Windows 10.

I'm not sure if the engineer who replaced the system board has reset some defaults in the boot settings, but I could not find any information on similar cases like this that has helped so far. I looked at the Boot menu in the BIOS and it is currently set to "Both", which I am confident was what it was set to before hand.

If anyone has any information or advice with this it would be would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Help with unstable system

    latest update,
I have changed psu for xfx 750W and keeping to stock values and use on board graphics, the system seems stable , has been for several days. If I try to unleash, then Its prone to occasional crashing.
So next step was to put HD6950 in with CPU in stock setting.
System very unstable again. crashes after about 5 mins.
I have lots of fans , CPU temp ~35deg, HDD ~30deg,
    HD6950 ~ 49deg
When system crashes, I dont get bSOD but a grey screen with thin black vertical lines. I then have to re-boot . I get back, Windows reports error with usual 124 error.
Could the CPU be an issue ?
    Dont have another to test.
    Any suggestions ?
    Thank you
