The process named System is using disk constantly in task manager. Not allot, ussualy only 0,2mb/s but somtiems it shoots up to 20mb/s and on startup it also has high CPU usage. Is system supposed to be using disk constantly? I thought that process was just for drivers.

  2. Disk management console view is not up-to-date

i dont know how to fix your disk management, but i can fix your partition problems...

open up Command Prompt with admin rights. (Right click, run as admin)

    enter in
    DISKPART
    list disk

then find the Disk number for your Raid array... lets call it number 7 ( you can tell what disk is what by the total size)
    type in

    Select Disk 7
List Partition (will give you a list of all the partitions..)
Select Partition 1 (im assuming you only have 1 partition on Disk 7) repeat this step if you have more partitions.
    ASSIGN

that should get the array up and running ready to use.

    EDITED.

    any problems, post back ^^

Still EDITING *Stick Out Tongue System constantly using Disk in task manager :p

side question, have you tried restarting the PC?

CPU constantly at 100% in task manager

So you didn't understand. Change the active plan to some other plan and change max/ min processor state values (not CPU) to something other than min %100 and max %100

    Just as a test.

If that has no effect then I don't have other suggestions.

System constantly using Disk in task manager

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.
