Windows 10: System crashes Bluescreen when running various programs, reliability and problem history...

Ever since I installed a new ram into my PC, the system started to crash on various instances randomly. When browsing Chrome, when playing games very frequently, and other actions.Viewing the reliability and problem history, I noticed the system indicates that "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. System crash with various BSOD

Hi all

Sorry for the format but this is the first time I post here as I am starting to run out of options with my system crash.

Started around two days ago, and my desktop will crash randomly. Sometimes it crashed when I was away from the computer, and other times it will crash with various BSOD messages.

I used to overclock my system, but the system continues to crash when I return my bios system to default.

Initially, I thought it might be a driver problem, but after running the driver verifier, the system continues to crash. I also ran a memory test (Karhu ram test) to see if I have faulty memory, but it didn't crash the system.

I am thinking it is likely a hardware problem, likely memory or PSU, but would like if anyone can provide suggestions.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

It depends on the program - especially how old it is and whether it's compatible with Win 10.

What you describe is typical of needing to run it in compatibility mode (rt click its shortcut or exe file, click Troubleshoot compatibility).

Another possiblity is a BEX error - see your Reliability History and look at the relevant red X.

That would suggest you need to add it to your DEP exception list.
