  1. System crashes without BSOD/errors [Diagnostic info included]

Hello, this is a continuation of my previous post https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/getting-frequent-system-crashes-could-someone-help/61a48346-bc1b-4308-8502-8e6e4801819d?rtAction=1620231286319, where I was told to upgrade my BIOS and try a couple of versions of the graphic card drivers. I upgraded BIOS and tried 3 different GPU drivers April, March and January - March was the better of the lot, but all of them still caused crashes.Still the same symptoms:Crash without BSOD or error messages - Screen just goes black.Event viewer logs are generally unhelpful,

    :)

BSOD during gaming, plethora of different error codes!

Hello and welcome to TenForums System crashes without BSOD/errors [Diagnostic info included] :)

The log files that you provided only show one crash dump file so there is not a lot of information to go on. Furthermore the bugcheck code is not one I have ever seen before!

The stack recorded in the dump includes some references to storage and the analysis suggests memory corruption and so with nothing else to go on I would suggest that you do a check on the hard disk and RAM. This maybe the same as you have already run but it would be good to see the results.

    Try CHKDSK
    using option 3
    Then

    Diagnostics Test [/i] HDD TEST
    *Arrow Run HDTune to
    • check the health,
    • scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
    • run a benchmark.
It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following
    • the health,
    • the error scan,
    • the benchmark incl. following
      • transfer rate,
      • access time,
      • burst rate,
      • cpu usage.

Similarly with a memory test it would be good to post the results after you have run memtest86+ for a minimum of 8 passes

You indicated that many more crashes have occurred, however, they are not being recorded. Please make sure that your system is setup to record crash dump files: Configure Windows 10 to Create Minidump on BSOD

If the BSOD errors are all different it does tend to suggest a hardware problem. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

System lockups, BSOD, games crash. errors vary.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Please uninstall ASUS software, it is known for causing bluescreens.

    Clean boot
    Please try the following:
    • Open taskmanager
      • Go to the tab startup
      • disable everything
    • Search msconfig and open it
      • Go to the tab services
      • Check 'hide microsoft services'
      • Uncheck all other services
      • Click apply and click ok
    • Reboot if asked
See if the problem persist, if the problem does not persist enable in the startup tab in taskmanager 1 item and in the services tab in msconfig also 1 service, reboot and see if the problem persist. Keep doing this until you find the culprit or there is nothing left.
If the problem still persist, try booting in safe mode and see if the problem still persist

    BSOD - Registry Error

    Your BSOD code is 0X000000051

Here's the Google search I did for it: https://www.google.com/search?q=0x0...j5.399j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8

There is a hotfix available that might help, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/810558

This thread makes a few good suggestions too: http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-hel...dows-7-pro-sp1-registry-error-0x00000051.html

+1 to listing your full system specs, OS version, etc. I did only look at your BSOD log file.

Run a Diskchk /R (I know you already ran one, so you can skip this)

    Run SFC /SCANNOW

    Report back.
