Windows 10: system Error MSVCP100.dll

My computer is saying there is a system Error and is giving me this message when I try to view an image on a disc. The message is as follows "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

The first method to try is to download msvcp100.dll inside Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 redistributable package. Follow the steps:

• Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685 and click on
  Download;
  
• In case you have 64-bit OS, check on both of the versions (x64 and x86, it’s important!), if you have 32-bit OS – check on x86 only and download it to your machine;
  
• Run vc_redist.x86.exe at first, then — vc_redist.x64.exe;
  

After the installation, now you should see msvcp100.dll and other dll in folders C:\Windows\System32\ or C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.

That should help you to fix the issue.

Sometimes msvcp100.dll can be accidentally deleted by installation wizard of other app. Check if the file is located in the appropriate folder – C:\Windows\System32\ or C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.

Hullo, I just installed the Windows update today, and yesterday was working successfully with Tom Tom. I have now got a system error message indicating that MSVCP100.dll is missing, and that I could possibly solve the problem by reinstalling the Tom Tom
My Drive Connect Program. I have uninstalled the Tom Tom My Drive Connect, and reinstalled, but no solution to the problem.

How can I get the missing MSVCP100.dll (whatever it may be) installed to allow correct operation?

RUNNING WINDOWS 10, EVERY TIME I PLUG IN THE POWER CHARGER I GET A "MSVCP100.dll is missing" ERROR i HAVE DOWNLOADED A MSVCP100.dll BUT DONT KNOW WHERE TO PASTE IT.
