    System exception crashes - BSOD


    Recently my W11 -Pro machine had a few times with BSOD crashes with no apparent reason, saying: “Unexpected Kernel mode trap”,And “System Thread Exception not handled”, and then on reboot – “… did not start properly”.In addition, it is very slow sometimes – sluggish program starts, gaps in response, etc.Also a few: "Video Scheduler internal error" crashes. Debugging minidump’s only one showed a possible user program cause, and rest are system events & exceptions. But now I also started getting unexpected shutdowns, with an automatic restart that fails.Thus I come back to

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    This is the BSOD I keep getting disconnected from my wifi, and i found out my network driver keep disconnecting. I tried many things such as flush dns, reinstall driver, windows update... and still doesnt solve the problem.

    Creators update BSOD: system thread exception not handled (ndis.sys)

    Hi Sascha,

    Before we proceed on doing other troubleshooting steps, have you tried the steps suggested by
    "Marc Cai" in this thread? We also suggest that you try to
    use the Windows Update Troubleshooter and see if it helps.
