Windows 10: System Failure - Windows crashing witthin 5-10 minutes of launch... seems to indicate a bad...

I have a machine that is totally acting funny. In order to repair it I have tried running the regular sfc repair but it fails. I have even tried to do a fresh clean repair giving it permission to remove all my old data, and that also fails. It cannot reach online it seems, nor could it see a networked drive, even though I am hardwired to the router with no protection that I know of that would stop windows. So now I am now trying to create install.wim to use DISM repair instead but the windows install media iso I downloaded from Microsoft has only an install.esd file, while DISM can only use

Bad system config info and failure to launch windows 10

Windows 10 on a Dell XPS about 1.5 yrs old

turned machine on and got the Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart; bad system config info.

Went through the multiple suggestions to fix, repair or restore but none of them were successful. Seemed to get a consistent response that a problem was encountered and therefore no the problem couldn’t be resolved.

Under troubleshoot attempted the prompt command option. The message under the Microsoft Windows [version 10.0.17134.1] said not enough resources available to process this command.

I found a video on youtube to address the bad system config info issue and followed the steps as presented.

After going through that process my system still won’t boot up.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
