Windows 10: System files on Windows are using too much disk space!!

I am using Windows 10 on a Surface Pro, and I have a near 120 GB in total disk space capacity, but I am currently down to less than 1 GB of storage space. My windows system files seem to be using too much space. I have tried disk clean-up and have deleted all my restore points. I've constantly seen the Windows "System files" in the Settings "System and Reserved" files category keep increasing in size. I am pretty sure it has increased 3 GB in disk space lately and possibly might have increased in size before. I will also note that I have downloaded a few applications lately, but I am not sure if that's part of the the System files section. The files became bigger a while after the downloads if I remember correctly. This is the specific files category I'm talking about:

Disk space.

Could be the Windows Update Stores files, .old files, shadow copies, etc.

Try running Windows disk clean up with the "Clean up System Files" option.

Delete files using Disk Cleanup <-- Be sure to check out the section at the bottom "To clean up all files on the computer".

Try to run theSystem Maintenance Troubleshooter.

• 
  Press Windows key + W and type
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select view all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Click System Maintenance,
  follow onscreen instructions.
  

I suggest you to run Check Disk which performs an analysis of the disk. Refer to the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
• Type chkdsk /f and hit enter.
