Windows 10: System freezes while browsing after KB3093266

This started shortly after I installed the latest cumulative update a couple of weeks ago. I had been using IE as my default browser, I was in here reading and my whole system locked up. That happened about 3 times, then I moved to FireFox. Under Firefox, it would not freeze completely, my mouse would still work, but my Keyboard would be locked up and clicking on things doesn't do anything. Everything ran generally well before the update.

Has this update affected anyone else the same way? If I stay out of desktop browsers it doesn't freeze, if I use Edge it won't freeze.

Is it only happening on Internet Explorer?

Is this only happening with Amazon website?

What about browsing other websites?

Did you cross check the issue with Microsoft Edge or on other browsers?

Is your PC running with any Antivirus or online protection software?

Old title: Freezes up

Every time I open up something on my pc I can only view it for a short time. Since my pc was updated, it will freeze up. I go on amazon and do shopping and bring up an item it will freeze on the second page that I bring up. From now on I wilkl request when
I want my pc updated. Anyone have any sugguestions?

 

I have not encountered that issue myself, but you should try the latest cumulative update from October. This might improve it...
