Windows 10: System got shut down/sleep automatically and attempted to shut down again

My system got shut down a few minutes ago. It wasn't probably shut down completely. When I started again my browser and apps were still open. Maybe it went to sleep. I thought it would be because of low battery.But a few minutes later I saw an error alert on Windows itself which said something like "Can't shut down because ......". I couldn't read it and the alert vanished.I think there is something suspicious.A few minutes later I found a background app called "Web Companion" running. When I Googled some people say it could be malware so delete it. I tried to delete its installation software

Hyper-V Automatically being shut down randomly by the guest operating system

Hi, lenfant3 follow these steps

1. In Hyper-V Manager, choose the VM and then "Settings". Click on the Integration Services option and ensure “Operating System Shutdown” is enabled.
2. Choose "Automatic Stop Action" option under Management.
3. Choose "Shut down the guest operating system".

 

Shutting down, hibernating, or sleeping?

Speaking of ... I just built a new PC with an AMD Kaveri and Windows 7 64 and the option sleep is greyed out, I get shut down and hibernate; it's funny, on my PC (see specs) I get sleep and shut down not hibernate. I tried the bios but I'm clueless. Any ideas?

When sleep is grayed out it probably means that you're missing a driver required to do it or rather a device is incapable of going to sleep, but more often than not it's drivers that haven't been installed. I would make sure you're not missing any chipset or something.
