Windows 10: System Hardware Update 5/14/2015 keeps wanting to install

    System Hardware Update 5/14/2015 keeps wanting to install


    Folks -

    Prior to updating from 10074 to 10122, I had successfully installed this update.

    After 10122, it repeatedly wants to install it.

    I click the install button in WU, it finishes what it wants to do then it tells me a reboot has been rescheduled, do I want to reboot now. I reboot.

    After reboot, WU says I'm all up to date as of the prior day. I then go into update history, and at the top of the list is the 5/14 system hardware update successfully installed on (current day, in this case 5/31).

    Later I check for updates, and again it wants to install the 5/14 firmware update.

    I'm happy to ignore this untill future builds, but curious if anyone has encountered it and has a resolution.

    Try performing a build to build upgrade using the .ISO file for build 10162:

    Download and Prepare Windows 10 Preview .ISO file (build 10162)

    There are a number of ways to start the Windows 10 setup, but before we even do that though, we need to ensure we have our copy of Windows 10 downloaded and turned into a bootable copy.

    Download: Windows 10 10162 English: x86|

    Double click the .ISO file when download is complete and upgrade.

    Surface pro 3. I have tried going from fast to slow back to fast.... and it won't install..a.preview. 10130. is the last preview...thanks
