    1. Buy new hard drive.
    2. Install Windows 10.
    3. Download and install Updates.
    4. Check Task Manager.

    And there it was. 100% CPU the "system interrupts" so I grabbed a screen capture, recorded it happening, and posted it. Now I have to spend the rest of my night wondering what drivers or apps you'll try to blame it on. We all thought it was Malware. It was Microshaft.

    Hi mus890,

    Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc)

    If necessary, choose the Processes Tab

    Click on the CPU column header, so that arrow faces down

    Leave that window open to monitor your system

    When this high CPU occurs, minimize whatever windows you are working on and check what are the top 5 processes listed at that time?

    So, whenever I open my task manager CPU usage is at 100% and thing that takes up 100% is something called " system interrupts ", but its only when I open the task manager, so when my task manager is closed my CPU usage is at 100% at all the times? Do
    I need to keep my task manager open to play games?...

    High CPU usage with 'system interrupts'. However, the usage decreases when the task manager is opened. On opening the task manager, the system interrupt is visible for a few seconds and then the CPU usage goes down.
