System keeps freezing. Have trend micro anti virus. Do i need an additional anti virus system on top of defender?

Trend Micro lol, their anti-virus software gives you more problems then the actual virus' *Roll :roll:

 

Anti-Virus software

Both trend micro and system mechanic are conflicting with Windows Defender. Any resolution or recommendation for an anti-virus software?

been using Tredn Micro PC-Cillin for a couple of years now, on 3 different computers and have never had an outbreak of any type of malware - on the individual computers, or across our LAN. IMO, TM software is very thorough, and no where near the type of system resource hog that other anti-malware programs (*cough* McAffee, *cough* McAffee) are.


But, as anyone could tell you - having one anti-malware program is kinda asking for trouble sooner or later. Having other software for weekly scanning is a good idea - one software might catch something that another won't. Once a week, I run PC-Cillin full scan, Windows Defender full scan, and Webroot Spy Sweeper full scan. Squeaky clean, man! *Rockout :rockout:
