Windows 10: System.mdw file missing

I made the mistake of trying to upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10.It errored, and presumably didn't install, but now I am missing the System.mdw file that is used to open a database I use.How do I uninstall whatever bits of Windows 10 are making this happen?I have done a restore, but that hasn't helped.Any quick fixes out there of a non-computer mind?

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?
