    System not slow at all but task manager shows 100% CPU at ALL times


    My Task Manager application Windows 10 22H2 shows 100% cpu usage at all times, but the system is not slow. Using Process Explorer, it shows that my idle process is in fact 95%, and the other processes run at the same rate towards the actually used CPU time.My task manager seems to be miscalculating, by only counting the percentages of the time it's in use: - it shows that 100% of the in use time is in use.- low using applications shows high CPU usage rates that correspond to their relative rates to each other.Is there a way to fix the miscalculation my Task manager seems to be doing?

    Task Manager showing 100% CPU usage

    Task Manager showing 100% CPU usage. A few days after I built my PC, all of a sudden task manager started showing 100% CPU usage no matter what programs are running and it was also showing very high power usage. I ended up temporarily fixing the issue after I did a full fresh install of Windows, 2 months later and now the 100% CPU issue has returned. I checked sensor connections and updated my bios with no luck. I have NO performance issues, I used the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and it showed no high CPU usage. CPU and motherboard specs are below:

    Windows 10 Home 64-bit

    Motherboard: Z690 UD DDR4

    BIOS: F7a

    Processor: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900K (24 CPUs), ~3.2GHz

    Has anyone else run into this issue? Does anyone know of possible solutions?

    CPU constantly at 100% in task manager

    Sorry for the late reply to this. I have tried switching the plan to power saver and i set the cpu to 80% but task manager just has it stuck at a lower % with a constant amount. But process hacker displays hardly any %. I also tried clean boot, even with nothing loaded in startup options it still is stuck at 100%. I even went and reset the PC but still task manager remains at 100% cpu constantly.

    Task manager shows disk usage at hundred percent and performance is slow

    Please do this:

    1. Launch the Task Manager
    2. Click Details
    3. Click the CPU column header
    4. Make sure the biggest load is visible at the top of the list
    5. Use snippingtool.exe to create a snapshot of the frame
    6. Save the snapshot to the desktop, then attach it to your reply.
