Windows 10: System occupying 50-100% Disk Space Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to perform disk clean up and check if the issue persist.

Method 2: Also I suggest you to run the troubleshooter.

• Press Windows + X key.
• Go to Control panel.
• In the search box, type Troubleshooter
  and then click Troubleshooting.
• Under System and Security.
• Click on System Maintenance and Click on Next button.

Hard Disk shows wrong free space, or something is occupying 50% of my HDD

I have my computer with Windows 10 and a Hard Disk with 697GB of space. Windows shows that from those 697GB i have JUST 132GB free...

But, i've calculated every visible and hidden file (including those ones Windows hides for security, or the traditional hidden folders and files) into my HDD, i did it manual, and with some other softwares like JdiskReport. In all the cases it shows i have
JUST around 220GB occupied (this includes all Windows files, Program files (32 and 64), User files, hidden files, system files EVERYTHING)...

So...

Full space: 697GB

Free space (what Windows says): 132GB

REAL occupied space: 220GB

So where are those 342GB !!!!!!?????

 

Windows 10 System files occupying 130 GB

Good morning,

I have Windows 10 installed in a SSD partition with 225 Gb. I have recently found out that 130 Gb are occupied by System and Reserved, of which 118 Gb are occupied by file systems only. I already cleaned my laptop with both Storage Sense and Disk Cleanup.
I don't have a Windows.old folder.

Can anyone suggest how to free up space in my SSD? I understand that Windows 10 can work properly with only half of that space, so I do not get why it eats so much of it.
