Windows 10: System & Reserved is taking up too much space and I cannot fix it

I have a relatively new computer Nov 2020. It has a small C Drive 119 GB and a large D Drive 931 GB. I install all of my games onto the D Drive since their files are larger. I've been trying to install my original Sims 2 CDs onto my computer. I try to put them on the D Drive, but there's still a pop up saying:

"The Sims 2 Double Deluxe will install an additional 391 MB of data on drive C:.

Proceed with install?"

There's no option to change it to my D Drive so I have to say yes. My issue is that I have no storage on my C Drive. 81.3 GB are in System & Reserved. I've scoured through various threads and haven't found a good answer on how to fix it.


YES, I've got Storage Sense enabled it's useless


YES, I've deleted files I don't use


YES, I've cleared out my Temporary Files


YES, I've tried chkdsk/r


If someone can please give me a REAL solution as to how to ACTUALLY reduce the size of System & Reserved, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Windows Restore Points does eat up tremendous amount of your disk space and clearing it would indeed help free up some space. Aside from restore points, there are other invisible factors that can eat away your hard drive space like temporary and cached files.
For us to better understand why you keep on getting error messages about your storage space being full, we would like to ask the following questions:

• When did you first encounter the issue?
• Which Windows version and build is you device running? Type winver on the search bar, and then press
  Enter to find out.
• What specific error message or error code did you get?
• Could you repost the screenshots again?

In the meantime, we suggest you check the steps provided by Greg Carmack on this

thread about clearing system and reserve after an upgrade and see if it helps.

Reserved Partition Error - Fix Doesn't Work

When I registered my Windows 10 and went for updates, I got the stated error message (couldn't update the system reserve partition). On Microsoft's site, they list the steps you need to take to rectify the error. I was simply trying to follow the instructions.

Apparently, I have insufficient space on the System Reserved partition.

 

System & reserved taking up over 100GB of space

My computer was warning me about having limited space left, so I checked what was taking up space on my PC and saw this





I saw somebody recommend TreeSize to look into what was taking up space and saw this





The installer folder and srudb.dat are taking up >80gb all by themselves which can't be normal at all. Is there any way to fix this?
