Windows 10: system restarted and apps wont downlaod

My friend was recently just on his laptop without anything prior happening all of the sudden his laptop blue screened after restarting all oh his data was gone but backed up however when he tried isntalling any apps it would show downloading but then not download at all even after several restarts it wouldnt work soem things like word or excel and ppt would however

photo app in windows 10 wont load

my photo app wont open, and I cant uninstall it for it does not come up in the apps list in the settings. But it is in the all apps list.

When I have tried to reinstall it from playstore it says already installed. But wont open, and the new Twinui default photo view app wont open any jpeg files it say "class not registered".

I have followed other suggestions of troubleshooting, and system scan with no results.

Any suggestions?

hi there the screen has gone completely black now with no picture at all but the power is still on and it wont register the mouse or keyboard

To address your concern, we suggest that you re-register the Windows Store app that could have been corrupted. To do that, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key and type Powershell in the search box, right click on it and choose Run as administrator.
• Type ( or copy and paste) the following command in Powershell and hit
  Enter:
  
  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  
  
• Close Window PowerShell and restart the computer.
  
  

If still the issue persists, run the System File Checker tool. This issue may happen due to system file corruption. We suggest you to run System file checker. System File checker is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be
causing this issue. Kindly follow the below given steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
• In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
• Restart the computer.
  

If no corrupted system files were found, then run the DISM tool to
fix some Windows corruption errors caused by a damaged file due to incomplete update installation.

• Open command prompt by pressing Windows key +
  X and select “Command prompt admin”.
• In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter
  after each command:
  
  DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
  
  DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  
• Close the command prompt and restart the PC.
