Automated Restart of Windows 10 PC

Hello,

If Windows suddenly restarts without warning, or restarts when you try to shut it down, it might be caused by one of several issues. An outdated driver and software conflict are some of the possible reasons. Having said that, we suggest performing
the following steps:

Step 1: Disabling the automatic restart option to view error messages.

Many hardware driver or operating system errors will cause the computer to display a specific error message before stopping the operation or shutting down the computer. However, if the Automatically restart option
is enabled, an error message might not be displayed despite an error taking place. Disable this option to allow the computer to display the error message.
Follow these steps to disable the Automatically restart option:

• 
  In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.
  
• 
  Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section.
  
• Remove the check mark next to Automatically restart under System Failure, then click OK.
• Restart the computer.

Step 2: Checking for failed hardware.

Hardware problems can cause the computer to restart unexpectedly.

PC unexpectedly restarting, no error message, no warning

Please restart your computer and allow 20 minutes for the system to run before uploading information required to help me investigate your problem. When examining Event Viewer log files many, not all, problems show in the period immediately after
the computer has been booted.

Please upload to your OneDrive and share with everyone a copy of your
System log file from your Event Viewer and post a link here. Please remove any earlier copies of the logs from your OneDrive.



To access the System log select the keyboard shortcut Win+R, type
eventvwr.msc and press the ENTER key. From the list in the left side of the window select Windows Logs and System. Place the cursor on System, select Action from the Menu and
Save All Events as (the default evtx file type) and give the file a name. Do
not provide filtered files. Do not place the cursor in the list of reports before selecting Action from the menu. Do
not clear logs whilst you have a continuing problem.

 

Error message "The Computer Restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error" after System Startup on Windows 10 Recovery

Recently, I needed to restore my laptop to factory settings. I have Lenovo Ideapad
300-15isk Model Number 80q7. Installation was in process, but unfortunately laptop turned off because the battery was low. When I turned it on again I was getting this
error message "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed To install Windows, click ok to restart the computer, and then restart installation"
. After that I did a quick research and found this solution.

• When you see “The computer restarted unexpectedly” error message press Shift + F10 on your keyboard. This should open Command Prompt.
• Enter regedit and press Enter to start Registry Editor.
• Once Registry Editor starts, navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\Status\ChildCompletion and double click the setup.exe in the right pane.
• Change the Value Data from 1 to 3 and click OK to save changes.
• Close Registry Editor and restart your computer.

I followed the exact same steps and restarted my laptop. Now I'm not getting that error but when it reaches to the screen which shows the status/process percentage, it restarted again, and its keep doing this.

I bought this Laptop few months ago and windows was pre-installed in it. So, i don't have any disc to load windows files from it.
