Windows 10: System Restore is not working because of Volume Shadow Copy service

Hi, whenever I try to create a new restore point, I get this error:There was an unexpected error in the property page:The Volume Shadow Copy service used by System Restore is not working. For more information view the event log. 0x81000202I use Windows 10 Pro 21H2. All windows updates are installed.I don't have "Volume Shadow Copy" in the list of services, I only have "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider" service it is running. Also, I don't have the

when i try to make a system restore my computer says:

"The volume shadow copy service used by system restore is not working"
and error number 0x81000202

how do i fix this?

I suggest you to start the Volume shadow copy service and check. Follow these steps:

a. Click Start and type services.msc in the search box.

b. Search for the Volume shadow copy service and make sure the start- up type is automatic.

i. Right click on the service

ii. If the service is stopped, then Start the service

iii. Select Properties

iv. And in the Start-up type select Automatic.

c. Click Ok.

System restore not working. Unable to locate Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider service in services.

Volume Shadow Copy does exist in "Services" and is set properly. I've tried everything suggested, but nothing seems to touch this issue.

I am using Bitdefender Total Security as a defense against bad actors on the Internet. Is it possible that this is preventing System Restore from working?
