Windows 10: System Restore not creating restore points after Anniversary upgrade.

Since upgrading system restore is not creating restore points automatically. I have to create them manually and then they are being deleted automatically every 3 - 7 days. I tried allocating more disk space to restore but that has done no good. I also use an uninstaller program which used to create restore points but although it tells me it is it's not! I feel very vulnerable now only having a week's worth of restore points - there have been times I've been glad to be able to restore back a few months! Never had trouble before the latest upgrade and haven't knowingly changed any settings. Be very grateful if anyone can solve this for me. Thanks *Mad

Windows 10 1511 November update System Restore not working

I have installed Windows 10 with November update of 1511.

In the previous version of Windows 10 System Restore was working properly.

After upgrading to 1511 version of November update, System Restore points gets deleted after restart. Before restart System Restore points are created manually as well as automatically and are being displayed properly.

After restart all the system restore points gets deleted at the system says that Restore Points are not created.

Please suggest a solution.

I do not get any error messages when I try to run my games, nothing happens at all.

I run the very latest Nvidia driver for my video card.

I have had a look at trying to use system restore but the restore list only has 2 dates. Both the dates are after the anniversary update date. The first restore point is the day after the anniversary update and is a system restore point before a backup.
The second restore point is the following day and is a system restore point for another update. So I no longer have a restore point before the anniversary update. I don't know how windows has removed all my previous restore points.

Any ideas on how I can get my games working?

Apart from this issue, System Restore isn't 100% reliable and can fail you (restoring) for relatively inexplicable reasons. As System Restore only protects a limited range of areas of Windows, we strongly and repeatedly recommend disk imaging (e.g. Macrium Reflect (free) + boot medium + external storage for images).
