Windows 10: System Restore Points Not Created After Windows 11 Update

On the 08/08/2023 Windows 11 Update successfully installed the following 3 updates:- Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - v5.116 KB890830 2023-08 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 KB5028948 2023-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5029263 However, although these show in Windows Update History they do not appear in System Restore. On the 22/08/2023 Windows 11 Update successfully installed the following 2 updates:- 2023-08 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based S

I like to inform you that, Windows automatically creates a restore point when you install desktop apps and new Windows updates, if the last restore point is older than 7 days. You can also create a restore point manually at any time.

To create restore point Manually, follow the below steps:

1. Press the WinKey+X to display the system menu and click
System.

2. On the left side menu, click
System Protection.

3. In the Protection Settings section, click the
C: (system) drive.

4. Click the Create button.

5. Type a name for the System Restore file (The
Date and Time will be added automatically).
