    System restore went wrong


    I did A system restore on my Laptop. After it was done and I went over to get it set up again and it was on Other user to sign in to windows. Well, it won't take my sign info. And so I came on here to look up some threads. I found one and I did what it said to Do but I can't do it because apparently I don't have an administrative account On here now at all to do Safe mode. What do I do now. I saw that if you have another working computer to go download a start up file on a USB. Can I use an external hard drive with other files on it or does it have to be a clean one with nothing on it?
