Windows 10: System restore

I reset my Windows 10 PC because it was super slow for the past few days and it was my first time resetting my PC since it was given to me by my aunt.. After resetting there should be 3 options in the choose option Continue, Troubleshoot, and Turn off your PC... I only have 2... I have no option of Continue... I tried clicking troubleshoot and then Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery toolset but nothing happened... I tried clicking the advance options and then Go back to previous version but it says that it has ran into a problem... I don't know what to do... HELP!

Missing icons / buttons after System Restore

To address your concern, we suggest that you try to undo the restore or pick another restore point.

Please follow these steps to access system restore:

• Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, and then select Control Panel.
  
• Search Control Panel for Recovery.
  
• Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.

  winver on the search bar and press Enter.

On another note, we also suggest that you check the Windows Defender settings and lower down the security if it is on high security. This can also be another issue why it is preventing an update to be installed.
