    System Service Exception on boot.

    Hello,

*MadI'm getting really frustrated with 10 here. This evening I did a clean install after experiencing other problems. I got 10 installed and up and running fine; let me be clear, as far as I know, everything was working just fine. The first thing I installed was Chrome. No sooner had I got Chrome synced with my Google account, I got a BSOD citing "System_Service_Exception (ks.sys)" and it rebooted. After that, every time it booted back up, within seconds of getting to the login page the same BSOD occurred. I've done some googling and I can't find a report quite like this nor any solution. I'm a big fan of Windows and I do really like 10 when it works, but I'm getting very close to reverting back to 8.1. Please, does anyone have a suggestion or - dare I hope - a solution? I've spent a week fighting bugs and I don't seem to be getting anywhere.

    Thank you!

Edit: I had also plugged in a USB drive around the same time as installing Chrome but did not access it, if that is relevant.

    :)

We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here
If you have any questions about the procedure please ask

These crashes were related to memory corruption (probably caused by a driver).

Please run these two tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem. Please run verifier first. You do not need to run memtest yet unless verifier does not find the cause, or you want to.

If you are over-clocking anything reset to default before running these tests.
In other words STOP!!! If you do not know what this means you probably are not

1-Driver verifier (for complete directions see our wiki here)

2-Memtest. (You can read more about running memtest here)

That might be it the case the usb drive . Why not just try using it without it and see how it goes . My computer wouldn't start up until I removed the power usb adapter .

That was my first thought, too. I unplugged the drive as soon as it failed to boot up the first time but the problem still continues.

It's kinda of hard to tell since its a new birth with 10 . I mean you can check the obvious, right ? HHD, Ram or even search and see if others are having the same issues but if 8 was ok, then ?
