    System shutdowns


    Here's a puzzle. Getting random system shutdowns, like the plug pulled out of the wall, instant, while playing 2 games, Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Horizon 4 at ultra settings Thought maybe an overheating problem, nope, ran CPUID while playing, cpu stays below 70, GPU stays below 90. so not that. PSU maybe ? Nope, using CPUID again all voltages are completely stable where they should be. PSU is Corsair 750w and only 2 years old So ran the HeavyLoad app to stress CPU and GPU and Memory to max and got same figures as above and no shutting down. No real info in event viewer apart from the system shutdown at XXXX was unexpected and its only while playing these 2 Microsoft games, any other games have no problems. Any ideas ? Latest Windows 10 version is installed and all Drivers are up too date.

    We suggest that you follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issues with the shutdown function of your laptop:

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search bar beside the Windows icon.
    • Select Troubleshooting from the results.
    • Under System and Security, select Fix Problems with Windows Update.
    • Choose Troubleshoot as an Administrator.

    script running on Startup and Shutdown of System is not working

    Steps

    • Open a run box
    • type in "gpedit.msc"
    • Expand Computer Configuration
    • Expand Windows Settings
    • Select Scripts (Startup/Shutdown)
    • Double click Startup
    • Click Show Files and copy/paste your file in to this folder
    • Click the Add button on the startup properties
    • Click Browse and double click on your script to choose it.
    • "OK" out of all windows to apply the new settings.
    I am generally Giving Path of My python to the startup and shutdown as steps given above
