Windows 10: System sound on key press

Hi there.I am experiencing a minor annoyance I'd like to address. When pressing keys in some environments, particularly while on the desktop, I am hearing a system beep which is the Windows Background beep. This can cause an annoyance if using push-to-talk for communication.I can disable this or change it to something less annoying by altering Default Beep system sounds through Settings > System > Sounds > More sound settings. My question is, is there a particular registry change I could make to disable this function on key press specifically so I don't have to disable or change the D

Can only hear system sounds.

Thanks for the answer, but none of the two steps worked. I still only have the system sounds.

 

No sound from speakers after upgrading to Windows 10.

I would suggest you follow the steps below:

Update all your audio drivers.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

• 
  Press Windows key + R key. Type "devmgmt.msc" and click Enter.
  
• 
  Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
  
• 
  Double-click on the Sound card.
  
• 
  In Properties, go to Drivers Tab and click on Update.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

If this does not work you might have to Uninstall and then reinstall your drivers in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps to uninstall and reinstall the driver.

• 
  Press Windows key + R key. Type "devmgmt.msc" and click Enter.
  
•
