Windows 10: system tray icons slide to center from the right when opening lid

Discus and support system tray icons slide to center from the right when opening lid in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; When I open the lid to laptop, the system tray icons slide over, all together to the center from the right.     system tray icons slide to center from the right when opening lid


    When I open the lid to laptop, the system tray icons slide over, all together to the center from the right. This is brand new. They just used to be in the center. Period. THey didn't slide from the side. Not the ones on the far right, just the ones that are supposed to be in the center to begin with.What is causing this and how to i fix it. I did't touch ANY settings to do with the tray.

    Change location of the action center icon on system tray

    Hi, I have the taskbar vertically positioned, and the action center icon gets too much space, alone and not with other system tray icons.

    Kindly try the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Locate the eject button near the disc tray. This button is usually directly to the left or right of the disc tray.
    • Press the eject button firmly and quickly. The tray should slide open.
    • Press the eject button a second time to close the disc tray.
    If the above steps doesn't work try the below.

    • Open This PC.
    • Right click on DVD drive.
    • Click on Eject to open the drive.
    If this doesn't help, I suggest you to contact Toshiba support for further assistance.

    Tray icon disappears

    I've been experiencing since the installation of Windows XP SP2 on multiple machines with the ATITool Tray Icon disappearing upon load at system startup. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. Enabling or Disabling the "Hide Inactive (tray) Icons" WinXP menu option doesn't have any effect. The only way to open ATITool after it has loaded is to go through the start menu to open it again. I have "minimize on close" selected in ATITool. When closing ATITool, you see it make the motions of minimizing to the tray area but no icon is displayed. Any ideas?
