Windows 10: System tray popup menu not working

Hello there,I installed Windows 11 through the Insider about two weeks before it was released. Since then, I'm having this issue, where the popup menu that comes when you click on the WiFi / Battery / Volume icon in the system tray is missing. The icons are there, and when I left click on it, nothing happens, when I right-click on it, the button to go to the Network and Internet setting, Sound settings etc. come. I thought this was there just in the early versions of Windows 11 insider, but even after opting out of it and coming back to the normal version, the issue still seems to persist. I s

• Right-click on an empty space in your desktop taskbar and select Properties.
• In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window, find the selection labeled
  Notification Area and click on Customize.
• Click on Turn system icons on or off.
• If you'd like to always show all icons, turn the slider window to On.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

Lost clock and calendar from system tray after update on September 25, 2016

There are several reasons why this issue happens. To help you resolve this concern, we suggest that you adjust the height of the system tray. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the system tray.
• Make sure that the Lock all taskbars
  option is unchecked.
• Try positioning your cursor at the top edge of the system tray until you see a vertical line with arrows at both tips.
  
• Hold the left mouse button down and drag the edge of the system tray upward to expand it.
