Please!! Anyone? Please explain how to write a command in Command Prompt so that I can add the Clipboard icon back to the system tray WHERE IT BELONGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in this awful, horrific, cumbersome, gated, shame-on-you-for-releasing-this-trash-MS! Windows 11?????This is the final straw. I'm reverting to Windows 10 after this, if need be.This is a huge accessibility oversight. Not everyone is capable of memorizing even simple Windows+ commands. And, who was bothered by the System Tray having 10+ icons? Not me. Easy access, is easy access. It's not like Windows 11 Taskbar is any less of a ni

  2. Is there a way to always show system tray icons in Windows 11?

Is there a way to always show system tray icons in Windows 11? I am aware that you can simply drag an icon from the overflow menu onto the system tray, but I've tried that with the printer icon and it doesn't work. Whenever I have a new print job, sure enough the printer icon will appear in the overflow menu. I'd like it to appear by itself in the system tray, bypassing the overflow menu.

  3. Lost clock and calendar from system tray after update on September 25, 2016

    Hi,

There are several reasons why this issue happens. To help you resolve this concern, we suggest that you adjust the height of the system tray. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Right-click on the system tray.
    • Make sure that the Lock all taskbars
      option is unchecked.
    • Try positioning your cursor at the top edge of the system tray until you see a vertical line with arrows at both tips.
    • Hold the left mouse button down and drag the edge of the system tray upward to expand it.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

System Tray use way underestimated by Windows 11

Is there a way to always show system tray icons in Windows 11?

    Hi Paul,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The Taskbar in Windows 11 is very limited compared to the one in Windows 10, currently there is no native way to pin that icon to the System Tray.

The good news is, Microsoft have listened to the Insiders that tested Windows 11 and they are now testing a lot of new functionality on the Taskbar, and so we should receive that in an upcoming update to Windows 11.

In the meantime, please open the feedback hub (Windows Key + F) and provide your feedback on the lack of functionality on the taskbar in Windows 11 to the developers there.
