    I bought this Lenovo CPU with installed Windows 10 about four months ago and am facing this issue post a Windows update.I have tried all possible windows repair options from Windows Repair screen after hard restart. Resetting system and locally reinstalling Windows gets stuck at 88% and screen goes to black, doesn't recover from here. Even factory reset from command prompt is giving me "SystemReset not recognised command" error. Thus I unable to try to install Windows externally as well. Please help.

    Windows 10 reinstallation Stuck at 88%

    I was having an issue with my profile and so I decided to do a reset on my windows. I tried to do a limited restore that kept my files but the computer got to 88% and stuck. rebooted several times, used a boot disk to see if I could revert then changes.
    naadaa. Any suggestions?

    88 seconds to starts WinXP!

    Yep, 88 f-ing seconds. I've looked all over this Internet and tried everything I can to increase the boot speed, but nothing works!!! All the service, registry and control panel types stuff tweaks, ive done.

    First of all I get the pretty bar, then a black screen for about 10 seconds and then the Welcome screen for aaaages. I did run bootvis and the things that are taking ages to boot are the Shell and then the logon + server.

    Anyone got suggestions? I hope this isn't a reinstall Windows jobby.

    Windows 10 stuck on black screen after boot.


    Hi guys, I'm having an issue with my laptop. Updated to Windows 10 Pro x64 about a month ago. Two days ago I shutdown the system just fine but just yesterday when I booted it, it got past the Acer logo during boot followed by a black screen as usual... BUT it stuck there forever. Restarted it multiple times, same result. Sometimes the cursor shows up but its useless as its just the cursor. *Confused

    Tried the following things.


    • Tried CTRL + SHIFT + ESC for task manager but nothing came up.
    • Tried CTRL + ALT t+ DEL still nothing.
    • Went through recovery options then selected safe mode but, to my surprise, the same result.
    • Then used the chkdsk command through cmd in recovery options, didn't find any problem.
    • Ran the sfc /scannow command from boot, didn't found any integrity violations. *Shock

    Any suggestions? I still have to try system restore though. *Think
