    Hello!


    My CPU is used aprox 10-15% everytime by acpi.sys + 0x42f50


    All drivers are upated, bios update, scanned with malwarebytes.

    Windows 10 system interrupts using 20% CPU

    I have looked over the communities posts about system interrupts and need help going through the steps to resolve this problem. I noticed my computer slowing down and checked the system monitor, and found system interrupts using 20 % avg. CPU. I realize
    there is a Microsoft test\scan, but I am not sure how to perform it, or how to get it to a zipped stage for uploading to a pastebin. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. My computer is an HP dx 7200 with windows 10 OS.

    Windows 10 system interrupts using 20% CPU

    I have already tried all your suggestions, but to no avail. The scan\test I was referring to, is called the Windows performance analyzer. I saw that the results were asked for in another thread on this same topic. When my computer is rebooted the system
    interrupts account for .12% of my CPU, but after a while it climbs back up to 20% and then my computer is slowed. I am at wits end, as I can find a lot of people with this issue online, but none with an answer as to how it is fixed.

    Strollin: I understand your suggestion, but that means I'll have to re-install all my sofftware etc. again. This is not an enticing thought at all.

    LCDR: I tried the old activation code I used before - it is the same on you posted.

    I tried the steps listed at the WinAero site. Last one failed because it said the server could not be located. But I did get the Jan 20, 2016 date back. So that's something.
