  1. System Volume Information and moving the Desktop folder

    Hello,

I wanted to move the desktop folder to another Drive from C: drive to E: drive since I have everything in the Desktop and my C: drive was running out of space. The E: drive was completely empty as I had just installed it.

I moved the location of the desktop by going to the properties, location and then putting E: as the new location as I thought it would automatically create a desktop subfolder in E: but it simply reassigned E: as the Desktop and now everything that I put in E: shows up in the desktop.

I tried to revert the process by going to the desktop properties and restoring the location to default but an error message appeared: "not able to move desktop location system volume information"

What should I do to fix this and revert the Desktop back to default location in C: ?

    :)
