    Is it normal that the system volume information directory takes 87 GB memomery? How can I release more space?

    System volume information

    You can change the size of your pagefile in Control Panel, System, System Properties.

    About the large system volume files, I've never managed to defragment mine either...

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    That is way too big for the System Volume Information folder.

    Click your Start Button, then just type restore

    From the resulting list, open System Restore

    Select your C drive in the System Restore utility and click Configure.

    Set that to something sensible like 10GB and save that setting.

    Restart (not shut down) your PC and check the space used by System Volume Information.
