Windows 10: System windows 11 lags after start up and screen flashes black

Hi,Immediately after start up, windows 11 lags/freezes with the twirling dot constantly twirling. After a few minutes, the screen will flash black for about 1 to 2 seconds. After the black screen leaves, the twirling circle will still be there and the system will remain frozen. After another few minutes, the screen will flash black again for a second or two. After this the system is normal, the mouse pointer is back and the system has normal functionality. Anyone have any idea what the issue may be? This does not happen all the time either. This only occurs once out of ~5 times when powering

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

I would suggest you try the power troubleshooter if you are able to boot into the system.

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + W and type Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting and click on System and Security.
• Click on Power and follow the onscreen steps.

Black flashing screen

My Dell XPS running Windows 10 continues to have a flashing black screen. I have tried all the suggestions but to no avail. The only additional observation I can make to help identify the problem is that the flashes are more frequent at start up but gradually
declines as time passes. Also it happens when I'm using a Microsoft product, e.g. IE 11 or Outlook.
