    So with the new windows update my task bar was missing for a while, and I did all the works, from opening task manager to restarting my pc multiple times and the only way I could do anything was from the mini arrow that was on my task bar and now after this newest update from a few days ago my task bar is there but now some buttons won’t work, my arrow now only opens but I can open anything from there nor can I open my settings. Im out of storage my pc and it’s now effecting certain things I’m opening. I game, stream, and do my college work on here, so I would love some assistance on fixing th

    I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down the issue and to provide you better assistance.

    • Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
    • Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
    • Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
    • Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?
    Method 1:

    I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

    • Open Cortana.
    • Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
    • Go to Settings and click on off.
    • Follow the same steps to turn it on.
    • Check if issue persists.

    Applications won`t maximize

    Following a W10 update, applications only open as minimised on the taskbar and won`t maximize. I have tried closing them minimised but no good. Can anyone help ? thanks
