Windows 10: System32 security properties

Discus and support System32 security properties in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I had to fix something by gaining access to the System32 folder, then deleted some malicious files, but forgot to write down the default permission...     I had to fix something by gaining access to the System32 folder, then deleted some malicious files, but forgot to write down the default permission settings. This is what I have now - does it look correct? Thank you in advance!

    okay ive done the same thing as you but i cant put the file back into the folder

    • Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.

    That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

    SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.

    Windows keeps turning off the security center.

    Hi Maninder,

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key + R and type Services.msc then hit enter.
    • Services Console will appear.
    • Find Security Center Service on the right details pane > right click it choose properties >
    • Security Center Properties should appear > on the General Tab
    set start-up type to automatic (Delayed start)

    • On service Status Stop and then Start.

    If this does not works & error still continues then there are more chances that your system is infected

    Let us know the status of the issue in regards with Security Center. Your reply is important to assist you further.
