    Hello, how are you all, I found that a lof of people have same problem, but i didn't found any concrete steps to resolve the problem found that people have this problem with indexing, and hidden files.My situation is next:Here is the picture of system32 size: https://postimg.cc/tnjx49bd Here the picture of folders and files beside new files that came up: https://postimg.cc/jn4JWBqp And here are the new files, that all have same timestamp date 5/18/2023, and they are listed on alphabetical order from 0-9 and then from a-z: https://postimg.cc/6TrZ14VM , https://postimg.cc/8

    My windows folder is taking up 300GB of my space. I've had this issue before, but forgot the resolution.

    Windows folder (system32) weights over 300gb...

    The Windows\System32 folder occupying 320GB of disk space is really weird. Download and run TreeSize to identify which file/subfolder under "System32" consumes huge disk space.

    okay ive done the same thing as you but i cant put the file back into the folder

    • Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.
