    I was trying to run windows like normally when I got this message. Before this, I was also trying to run windows but I got a black screen that only resolved when I restarted windows. I noticed that my laptop'. Lenovo fans would start to spin faster and get louder when there was no sign of overheating in the laptop. I am not able to do much in a short time period because of my laptop continuously starting to black screen or have a BSOD. This has happened before but I had gotten it fixed, suspecting a virus o my computer that destroyed it. I have not downloaded any thing and I ran a full syste

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (igdkmd64.sys)

    I try to install newest Intel HD Graphics 4600 drivers on Windows 10, but get the BSOD: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (igdkmd64.sys). I tried drivers from:

    • Intel site
    • Asus (Motherboard manufacturer) site
    • Windows Update

    This error come every time when trying to update the drivers. The Device Manager shows Microsoft generic VGA graphics adapter drivers and Intel drivers cannot be installed. The BSOD comes either while installing or after reboot.

    The system has only Intel's onboard graphics.

    How could I get Intel drivers installed without BSOD?

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION IGDKMD64.SYS

    After upgrading to Windows 10 I'm seeing the following error:

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION IGDKMD64.SYS

    I have version 10.18.10.4252 of the driver but the system will not boot up normally. I can boot up in safe mode fine.

    Also, when I start up Windows Update it just spins and never does anything.

    Any ideas?
