Windows 10: Tablet Stuck On "Restarting"

I have a Windows tablet. When I tried to turn it off today it wanted to update. I said okay, but now it has been stuck on "Restarting" for over 3 hours now and I can't even shut it off. I once saw a post with a combination of buttons to push at the same time to turn it completely off, but I can't find that now. That seemed like it did a hard reset in the past. Can you help?

I am sorry to know that you are unable to boot the tablet.

• What is the model of the tablet?
• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• 
  On a working PC, go to the
  Microsoft software download website and create
  Windows 10 installation media.
  
• 
  Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
  
• 
  On the Install Windows screen, select Repair your computer. (If you’re not seeing this screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer's website for info on how to boot from media, and
  then try again.)
  
• 
  On the Choose an option screen, select
  Troubleshoot. Select Advanced Options > Startup Repair.

Windows Tablet stuck on Restarting

I have seen similar posts to this but none seem relevant to a Windows Tablet. My tablet went into shut down after not being used. I went to switch on it went into update, it shut down again and then came up with restarting and has been stuck on this screen
for several hours. This is a three month old Microsoft windows tablet. Nothing has been downloaded on it. Used five times (as only use it when away so don't have to carry laptop). So yes, am away with a pointless new machine. Advice please. Again this is a
tablet so can't do shift, alt and delete. Literally stuck on restarting screen.

 

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.
